Or stop at Owen’s Paleo Park, a fossil dig site that allows guests to unearth fossilized remains of animals, such as the Giant ground sloth and the Saber-toothed cat that roamed the Coastal Bend 13,000 years ago.

Art Museum of South Texas

The Art Museum of South Texas is currently home to more than 1,850 works of art. Most art originates from the Americas, namely Texas. Most of the museum’s collection lie in the areas of paintings, photographs, sculptures, ceramics, glass, crafts, works of art on paper, and large installation pieces.

USS Lexington

USS Lexington, nicknamed “The Blue Ghost”, is an Essex-class aircraft carrier built during World War II for the United States Navy. She becoming the fifth U.S. Navy ship to bear the name in honor of the Battle of Lexington. Since 1992, the ship has been docked in Corpus Christi, Texas, where she operates as a museum

Art Center Corpus Christi

The Art Center of Corpus Christi is home to local art in the Coastal Bend. The facility brings together four pleasures: viewing art in its seven galleries, shopping in the Gift Gallery and local artists’ studios, dining in the restaurant and of course, the creation of wonderful art. The Art Center is dedicated to the purpose of promoting an awareness and appreciation of local and regional artists. Admission is always FREE!

Corpus Christi Wine Festival featuring over 75 varieties of wine from around the world! Texas Wineries, Local Craft Breweries, Live Music, Shopping, Food Trucks, and the best company all set in a historic hub of the SEA District!

Visitors will have the luxury of selecting from a wide-variety of wines and eating from on-site food trucks as they shop around vendor booths offering everything from jewelry to home decor to metal and leather products. Throughout the day, live bands will be performing on the Plaza Stage in the center circle of Heritage Park.
