GET YOUR YOUNG ANGLERS READY!

Have a young angler in your family? Sign them up for the 2018 Redfish Roundup. This open redfish tournament is open to Youth (ages 12 and under) and Junior (ages 13 to 17) participants. While it is an individual tournament, it does allow multiple entrants per boat. The tournament features both open and artificial bait classes. Participants fish to bring in two redfish from 20 to 28 inches.

Participants compete in their age group and bait class. Prizes go to the top five anglers in each division. The payout totals approximately $6,000. Tournaments will be held in Aransas Pass at the Redfish Bay Boathouse on April 8th, May 27th, and July 22nd.

Participants can launch from anywhere at 6:20 a.m. Weigh in is between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. You can register online up until 8:00 p.m. the Friday before the tournament. For more information and to register, visit the tournament website here.
