GETTING INVOLVED IN TOURNAMENTS

If you love to fish and are looking for a challenge, tournament fishing is a great way to enjoy some friendly competition and meet like-minded anglers.

Categories include boat-only, pier, bank, wading, and even kayaking, with some tournaments catering to more than one type of angler. You’ll get to know some of the regulars and can ask questions and scope out the competition. Plus, the weigh-ins are fun to watch, especially since many records are set in the Coastal Bend!
