HAVE A FISH-FILLED WEEKEND!

As Harvey recovery has progressed in the Coastal Bend, many fishing events are filling up the calendar. This coming weekend brings two that you won’t want to miss, both sponsored by different chapters of the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA).

The 2017 Babes on Baffin, all-women’s tournament, hosted by the CCA Texas Corpus Christi Chapter, is taking place October 7th, with the Captain’s meeting to be held on the 6th. The event is keeping its original date so anglers can come out and enjoy some much-needed relaxation. Over 300 women compete in the tournament each year, and it’s sure to be a great time on the beautiful Upper Laguna Madre. For more information on Babes on Baffin, check out their website here.

Got some good fish stories? Come on out to the Beeville Fish Fry, sponsored by the Redfish Bay Chapter of the CCA. This event was rescheduled for October 5th due to Harvey. Enjoy some fantastic fish, swap stories, and have the chance to win door prizes. There will also be raffle items, a silent auction, and a live auction.
